Hamburg combines maritime history with a modern urban flair. During my visit to my wife’s hometown, we explored the historic Speicherstadt with its iconic red-brick warehouses and picturesque canals, before heading to the vibrant HafenCity, a symbol of Hamburg’s forward-thinking spirit. The Elbphilharmonie with its unique architecture and panoramic views of the city was definitely my highlight.
