I always enjoy coming to Obdach as it my family history is tied closely to this place: It used to be my grandfather's hunting ground and I’m coming here to relax and unwind. The area offers vast hiking grounds around the Großer Winterleitensee with panoramic views of beautiful valleys and the alps in the distance. From the mountains you can also catch a glimpse of eastern Carinthia and in winter the area becomes a playground for freeriders.
