During the pandemic we had the unique opportunity to experience “the floating city” in a way unlike any other—with far fewer crowds. The colorful facades of the buildings, coupled with the elegant Venetian Gothic architecture and the sounds of seagulls alongside gondoliers' songs left a memorable impression.
