Our trip to Helsinki was all about taking it slow and enjoying the peaceful vibe of the city. We went swimming with a view at the Allas Sea Pool and spent time exploring the quiet, green islands just off the coast. A visit to a traditional Finnish sauna was a must and one of my favorite moments was sitting in the huge Central library, trying karjalanpiirakka, a classic Finnish pastry. We also loved how easy it was to get around and enjoy the city at our own pace. Overall, Helsinki was a calm and cozy getaway.
