My wife May and I chose to spend our honeymoon exploring the northern part of Italy: We set off by car straight after the wedding, starting in Tuscany where we visited the Uffizi and Palazzo Pitti and watched colorful sunsets from Florence’s bridges. After checking out the Leaning Tower of Pisa, we enjoyed the quiet charm of Lucca before continuing to La Spezia to explore the Cinque Terre — beautiful coastal hikes, lots of Aperol Spritz and gelato made it the perfect honeymoon for us.
